A generation. A unique terroir. Optimal climate.
Two wines: Amarone and Valpolicella.
And, as our first Ambassador,
our grandfather,
so proud of his nickname.
A portrait painted through a range of labels,
a visual archive recalling an old memory.
Excellence comes from authenticity.
Dal Forno Bros. was founded in 2021 and just one year later, in April 2022,
Comaroto, the name of their Amarone and Valpolicella wines, made its debut; the name evokes the voice of our grandparents when they told their grandchildren how important it is to stay down to earth; just speaking the name stirs the feeling of hearing someone’s voice next to you,
taking you back in time to when you were a child.

The technique used to make Valpolicella and Amarone – one of the most renowned wines of this area, the Veneto Region and Italy itself enjoyed worldwide – begins with rigorous selection of grapes, which are then left to dry on racks to concentrate substance, scents and aromas. The wine-making process continues with refinement in wooden barrels: the must turns into wine. The final stage is bottling.
The name Comaroto embodies true values and identities, draws aside every mask and artifice. It immediately signifies truth and loyalty. And above all, it firmly re-embraces our rural roots with pride, our heads held high.
The times of the past are hidden in today’s society. Today, everything is automatic and mechanical, everything is automated. Wine-making systems are increasingly innovative, leaving little manual work; Comaroto is a name that proudly echoes its origins!
